Despite its brevity, the turbulent life of composer Domènec Terradellas would make for a great movie, and we guarantee it would be highly entertaining, with a considerable number of locations needed. Born in Barcelona in 1713, he studied as a choirboy at Barcelona’s cathedral, where he was most likely a disciple of the legendary Francesc Valls.

Following the success we achieved at Clàssicand in May with this magnificent oratorio by Händel, this August we are bringing back the score at another festival where we always enjoy a great reception, the Torroella de Montgrí Festival.

This August you can see us play in two quite unusual locations: Escalarre and Camprodon. Indeed, bringing early music to places with fewer opportunities to enjoy live concerts is the spirit of FeMAP, the Festival of Early Music of the Pyrenees, where we will perform on August 24th and 25th in the company of mezzo-soprano Marta Infante.

After years of musicological research, on March 3rd we released our new discographic project, the CD "inVisibili", which we recorded with countertenor Xavier Sabata. This work has two objectives. On the one hand, we want to shine a light on composers overshadowed by the fame of more celebrated figures of their time...
