Vespres d’Arnadí continue to believe in the physical format, especially when it comes to preserving the musical heritage we have helped recover. During 2025 we recorded two CDs, both devoted to lost masterpieces that we are now proud to make available to music lovers and scholars.
The first is Giuseppe riconosciuto, the early oratorio by Domènec Terradellas that we presented in 2023 at the Festival de Torroella de Montgrí, in what was its modern-day world premiere. The version, following the critical edition of the score prepared by the late Josep Dolcet, features the voices of Alicia Amo, Anna Alàs i Jové, Mercedes Gancedo, Roger Padullés, Jorge Navarro Colorado and Montserrat Seró. A distinguished cast for a biblical story full of drama and tension, where forgiveness and redemption ultimately prevail.
The second is a jewel of Catalan Classicism, El regreso del hijo pródigo by Carles Baguer, another religious parable about forgiveness and unconditional paternal love. On this occasion, the rediscovery of the work is owed to the musicologist Lluís Bertran of the Instituto Complutense de Ciencias Musicales. The recording offers music of great nobility and elegance, as well as the voices of Pablo García-López, Ferran Albrich, David Alegret, Roger Padullés and Mireia Tarragó.
The CDs are available on digital platforms, and you can purchase them by sending directly an email to
