PROGRAMA
Ecos Barrocos is a recital that will accompany the audience to the essence of the Baroque. The project stems from the book of baroque arias Echoes of Italy that María Bayo kept among her scores. The book was published in the 19th century and the musical arrangements preserve all the grandeur of the musical style. This is a highly operatic programme, with arias by composers such as Antonio Vivaldi, Alessandro Scarlatti, Georg Friederich Häendel, and Emanuele Rincón de Astorga. María Bayo's musical career is indisputable, but it is in baroque music that she is always praised by critics. Dani Espasa and the Vespres d'Arnadí ensemble have been performing in the best theatres and festivals in Europe for more than a decade, thanks to their great sensitivity to early music. There are encounters surrounded by magic and one of them will be the performance that will unite Bayo and Espasa on the Baluarte stage. The connection between the two will allow Ecos Barrocos to touch the soul of the audience.
Works by Pergolesi, Vivaldi, Scarlatti, Haendel, Lotti, Legrenzi, Bononcini, Stradella, etc.
