"Baroque echos" is a semi-centric recital that will accompany the spectator to the purest essence of the Baroque.
The project arises from a baroque book called "Échos d'Italie" that Maria Bayo lovingly guarded among her scores. The book was published in the 19th century and the musical arrangements retain all the grandeur of the Baroque. It is an Opera program, with arias of composers such as Emanuele Rincón de Astorga, Antonio Vivaldi, Alessandro Scarlatti or Georg Friederich Häendel, among others.
María Bayo's musical career is indisputable, but it is in baroque music where criticism has always praised him especially for his brilliant voice full of harmonics. Dani Espasa and the baroque group Vespres d'Arnadí have been played in the best theaters and festivals of Europe for over a decade due to their great sensitivity to Baroque music.
They say there are encounters that happen only once in life, and we can say that Bayo and Espasa is one of them. The magic, the connection and the great musical culture of both, make "Baroque echos" reach the soul of the spectator.
